In 1992 we undertook an extensive journey across the country and held a variety of discussions with local tourism and travel experts. We spent approximately five months exploring, noting, amending and testing the most beautiful local routes and resorts/lodges. We have covered several additional kilometres since that time and have tried to extend and improve our tour packages wherever possible.
What makes our tours unique?
Every single tour can be personalised to the unique preferences of the rider. We will provide you with a pre-programmed GPS and a detailed description of the tour. You then have the option of travelling independently or as part of a group. A major benefit is the fact that you will not be subjected to the restrictions that large groups tend to impose. Ralf has never been a fan of travelling within a closed group and therefore decided to rather adopt this concept as he had seen it being used during ralleys. Each rider has the freedom to determine his/her own pace and can plan their breaks according to their own preferences and there is no compromise on safety as the riders will be accompanied by a motor vehicle that is equipped with spare parts, a 1st Aid kit, satellite telephone and cold beverages. All luggage and a spare bike is transported on a trailer. We have been using this concept ever since we first started our tours and we firmly believe that it offers the most flexibility and freedom possible in an organised tour.
Our tours across Southern Africa
are primarily focussed on Namibia and South Africa and we believe that the tours can be completed successfully by the majority of motorcycle riders. Barren deserts, endless expanses, rivers, mountains, rocky valleys, a fascinating animal kingdom and the opportunity to meet the local inhabitants of the country will all provide you with unforgettable experiences that will stay with you forever.
